Through regular check-ups, professional oral hygiene, and personalized care, we help our patients maintain healthy teeth and gums while avoiding future complications. When treatment is needed, we offer comprehensive services – from the early management of caries and aesthetic dental restorations to advanced procedures like the treatment of pulpitis and periodontitis. For complex cases, we perform dental treatments under a microscope to ensure precision and long-lasting results. If tooth removal becomes necessary, we ensure it is done gently and safely, with a focus on your comfort and recovery. We also offer cosmetic enhancements such as teeth whitening to help you achieve a bright, confident smile. Whether you’re here for prevention, treatment, or aesthetic care, our goal is to restore and protect your smile with the highest standard of dentistry.
Timeless Beauty, Trusted Strength
Caries is one of the most common diseases on Earth, affecting around 95% of the population. It can be caused by a variety of factors. The primary cause of caries is the presence of microorganisms in the hard tissues of the teeth, along with their metabolic byproducts. The human oral cavity hosts a vast number of bacteria that multiply rapidly. Even after thorough brushing, the number of bacteria can reach one million within 2–4 hours.
Several factors contribute to the development of caries, including:
-
Hereditary predisposition
-
Dietary habits, such as deficiencies in micronutrients, proteins, and vitamins
-
Gastrointestinal diseases
-
Diabetes
-
Weakened immune system
Caries progresses in stages:
-
Plaque stage – the earliest stage, where a white or pigmented spot appears on the enamel. At this point, the levels of calcium, fluoride, phosphorus, and other minerals in the enamel begin to decrease. The enamel loses its smoothness and shine, and begins to soften.
-
Superficial caries – the decay is limited to the enamel.
-
Developed caries – the damage extends beyond the enamel into the dentin, but has not yet reached the root.
-
Deep caries – bacteria penetrate deep into the dentin, with only a thin layer of healthy tooth tissue remaining.
If left untreated, caries can become complicated, leading to pulpitis (inflammation of the tooth nerve) and/or periodontitis (inflammation of the tissues surrounding the root), potentially resulting in tooth loss.
